and so, I didn't go for both my classes today. i skipped the first because of the meeting with provost, and the second because i decided to spend the time studying. i've done 3 chapters, and i have about 6 chapters (or lectures worth of notes rather) to go. i had planned to take a nap from 6pm to 8pm, but i only managed to finish studying those 3 chapters at 7pm, after which i went to get dinner, which i ate, and i kinda slacked after that till now. sooo i don't know if i should still get my 2-hour nap, or whether i should just get a long sleep and resume mugging tomorrow.
see if i sleep now and wake up early tomorrow, i probably won't be able to last till the night. but if nap now, wake up later to study a bit more, then go to sleep and wake up later the next day, i'll be able to last longer into the night. it doesn't really matter if you count the hours, but i just don't feel good about not mugging on the night before the test.
another thing, i don't want to check my email. because after i sent i realised i made some mistakes, and i'm kinda afraid i'll receive some unfavourable replies, or just replies that i don't wanna handle. at least not right now. argh. i think i shld play some games then nap.
sometimes i'm really amazed/wow-ed by how my life could have been so different if certain decisions were made, for better or for worse. have you ever thought about having this reset button which you can press and then everything resets, maybe just to a particular point in life? and then sometimes i think about little ironies in life - how certain things turn out in ways you never intended/expected. all these retrospective thoughts do not really have much value actually, unless of course you know how to apply what you've learnt to the present or to the future, which isn't always so easy because no one really knows for sure what's gonna happen.
