that day while i was feeling all moody and stuff and was just happy to stay at home and watch tv on my sofa, i took a bus down to je interchange to buy sth from popular (usually i'll walk from home, although almost always reluctantly and after a short inner struggle to convince myself that waiting for bus takes longer and i can save money by walking). and then i realised how much i enjoyed that simple 3-stop busstop to je interchange from my house. ok i didn't enjoy it per se, but it just seemed like eons ago since i did that, and some how i felt a strong sense of nostalgia. it was just a simple, pleasant, familiar bus ride, and i felt so happy. i figured it was also partly because i allowed myself, at that point of time, not to worry about anything else, and relive the times when i am more acquianted to the je neighbourhood than the kent ridge/pgp neighbourhood, which has not been the case for the past 1 year or so.
so that's one part of home (je) that i missed, and realised that i missed.
yet again, i'd still always find some reasons to prefer staying by myself in pgp though.
is this really my blog? too many chinese words. but then again, pple wld never think i studied in chinese schs for 9 years straight. maybe i shld really embrace my mother tongue. i still find it hard to express a lot of things i wanna say through mandarin though. but my unwillingness to use chinese for that reason only causes a viscious cycle. i shld practise more. and i'm trying, as can be seen from the previous few posts. but those chinese posts can still take a long time to type. ah well. keep it up dude.
