david beckham just came on for england, and i must say i felt a sense of nostalgia, almost missing the times when he was playing more regularly. it's not that i was old enough then to watch him often, but it was a nice feeling seeing him come on the pitch and play. maybe because i seldom see him play since he left for real madrid and then LA. or maybe it's because rooney and ferdinand are really ugly so beckham is a breath of fresh air. ok he's far too old to be fresh.
