it's not fun waiting for something that doesn't seem to appear.

was quite motivated to read some chapters in bio textbook, and almost fell asleep nearing the end of one chapter. Oh well, how interesting can protists be?

i think fungi will be a bore too. and hopefully plants and animals would keep me awake better.

i shall continue packing for p.ubin retreat. the last time i stayed overnight at ubin i saw a shooting star. i forgot what i wished for, or whether i even made a wish. if i were to see another shooting star tmr night, i wouldn't know what to wish for either. i mean, yeah sure i do have that burning desire, but.... nvm.

well even if i don't get to see shooting stars (or a shooting star for that matter), at least let the sky be cloudless so i can enjoy gazing at normal stars. it's impossible to do that with light pollution here.
