tanned!
ok only my arms and face and neck i think. probably gonna feel the pain of sunburn tmr.
black, white, black. the white part was where i wore my watch.
white, black. tired to roll up sleeves to get the upper arm tanned as well but wasn't that effective.

the kite we made many months ago! wrapped up safely in sth like a dry cleaning bag lol.
made a kite together with a kid but sadly it couldn't fly =(

still, it looks cute. and i didn't do the drawing. lol.
as i said, it couldn't fly no matter how i tried. prob did not get the balance right. at first i did not try to fly the other kites (there were abt 50 ready-made ones that we cld use shld the kites we made fail) cos the sun was scorching and i was content with walking to macs and buying a medium icedlemontea for my cooling pleasure. and then i decided i did not want to leave west coast park without flying a kite successfully (bruce brought his RC-helicopter that couldn't fly as well) cos the sky was littered with so many kites that cld fly and i felt i had to get one up myself. so i took one ready made kite, tied a string to it, and tried to let it fly. the wind carried it up, but it wasn't balanced too as it swaggered from side to side and eventually came crashing down to the ground. not once, but several times. got frustrated because even though i tried tying the string at diff positions it kept falling down nonetheless. got pissed. put the kite back. and got a new one. this time the correct place to tie the string was already marked out by a loop in the string that was alr attached. so i tied the string there and after that it was a piece of cake. it flew upwards as i let it go, and continued to soar as i let go of more string. eventually the whole roll of string was used up and i felt happy. it wasn't that high though, compared to bruce's which had five roll of strings attached and it could be barely spotted in the sky.
mine was more obvious, and i took pictures of it:

and then i boarded an airconned bus home which felt so shuang after being baked in the sun for the past few hours.
wow my arms turned from red to brown and it's getting reddish again. and my neck too! i hope i don't look too weird during tmr's interview.
