today was a physically tiring day, despite taking quite a few breaks at the library lol. the few days before this were sometimes tiring cos i had to call up so many schs/p/vp/am and repeating the same thing over a few hours. today was mainly packing stuff into folders. ytd we packed abt 10 bundles of 20, that's 200. and there's a total of 533pri+102sec=635 folders to pack. this morning, came to office, updated the excel file for teachersconference, then went upstairs to look for nor to get the post-its pads (which we ran out of ytd)so we could ctn packing. budden she only brought about 20 more, and we finished those quite quickly as well, and there was nothing much to do except to wait so i asked vnsn to go lib to slack. went there, read newspapers and enjoyed aircon when nor came in, told us to ctn taking a break cos she'll only be back at 1 (it was abt 1130 then. and she alw asks us to do things slowly/take breaks cos she knows when we finish doing stuff we prob won't have to come to work the next day =D). in the midst of taking our break, bossj suddenly appeared and caught us having nothing to do. I explained we were waiting for some more post-its so we cld pack and she suggested going for lunch early and then come back early and ctn packing. so we went lunch, came back, and went lib again to have tea, before going back to office. called up some schs while updating the excel file and then went upstairs to wait for nor to return. it was only abt 2+ when she did (with a delivery man and many more boxes of stuff to be packed), and cos bossm needed to go off for a while, vnsn had to ans phonecalls downstairs so i ctn-ed with the packing myself. i was doing it at a relaxed pace (but still quite efficiently) when 2 pdos came to offer to help (which was pretty weird cos they don't usually do such brainless stuff). but anw, accepted their offer and instead of being more relaxed, it got more hectic cos they were super efficient and were churning out completed folders like super quickly. and then 3 more pdos came to help and the table became a super efficient assembly line. and cos i had to bundle 20 folders together and bring the bundle into another room, i was like put 20 folders together, tie them up, bring them to the room, come out, and another 20 folders were waiting for me alr. and all the tying and carrying was quite tiring and soon i was sweating in the air con room lol. and in like 1 hr another 10 bundles were done. like so weird to have these teachers helping out a temp doing menial stuff. one of the trs was a chs maths tr, except she taught there a long time ago. was a teacher of mrterng and a colleague of mrhon when he was still a teacher. and then cos we were doing things so quickly, we ran out of another item. there were more stocks of it in another room but there was a meeting going on there so i didn't wanna go in to disturb. so the pdos stopped helping and i ctn-ed to bundle folders that were done and then vnsn came up but cos there were no more books i suggested going to the lib again to wait till 5 before coming back. had another cup of tea, and looked at this huge lonely planet book which features every country in the world. quite cool. and then i realised the lib was actually a hall previously! like the railings at the side, plus the hall-kinda lightings and a stage (currently the lib staff room) in front. rmb-ed that i was told this moe ground used to be RI... anw 5pm came quickly and we went back to office. judy caught us with nothing to do again. i explained. she suggested i go into the room quietly to get the stuff but i didn't want to, so in the end we got more of those books from the storeroom haha. bossj seemed very eager for us to finish our job today, and i was thinking maybe she didn't want us to come back tmr (and possibly the whole of next week till conference next next week) and was expecting her to say sth like "ok finish up the packing tmr morning and maybe u can leave in the afternoon and take a break till 26th" (eh wait! i just realised 26th is next next next week and not next next week argh). hmm anw when i handed her the thumbdrives at the end of the day she just said "you still have somemore to do right? i see you tmr then." so we still have some pri sch folders to pack and quite some sec sch folders to pack tmr but i think 2 pple can finish those in 1 hr. and i'm not sure if we have other stuff to do after that. since jz seems to be finishing most of the stuff for pat as well. hohum that sums up my day. except maybe i haven't mentioned how i got quite irritated at times when vnsn made quite a few (-pause lol! the plucking and the sound of the guit totally don't match and the voice also lol! that was ch8 btw unpause-) mistakes like he didn't really bother to be careful but nvmmm. and he has 3 cars at home too lol. shall watch show. TMR IS FRIDAY YAY!
