got my guit grade 5 cert and comments today.

3 pieces
A8: You played at an appropriate tempo with a consistent pulse and accurate notes. The tone had some warmth and there was a little dynamic shape. (There were a few brief slips later.) 24/30

B6: This was largely rhythmic, with some evenness of tone produced, and it did have some projection of the melody. Some buoyancy of style was there, but extra dunnowhat of dynamics could be added. 26/30

C8: Some feeling of momentum was created in the phrases and this was well-known, at a pleasing tempo. There was some dynamic shape, but more flow and buoyancy could still be developed. 26/30

Scales and Arpeggios:
These had some fluency and were known, although there were some restarts. 17/21

Sight Reading:
The main shape emerged despite quite a few bit of note error, and rhythm was not all exact. 14/21

Aural Tests:
A (melody memory) was accurate. B (sight singing) was correct, after a restart. ((i) correct tempo, but not period (ii) correct time and only small clapping slips.) 15/18

Total: 122/150

Additional Comments:
Some style is developing in the pieces, and this 'merit' is deserved.
